A mainstay in the community for over a century, the Cominco smelter operates an interpretive science center where you can study displays that explain the uses of zinc and lead as well as watch videos on the big screen TV and play educational computer games.A stop at the Sports Hall of Fame is also suggested. See which sport legends were born and raised in Trail. Visit the local museum, art gallery, or walk in Gyro Park and play in the children’s water park. And why not end the evening with popcorn and a movie at the theater.
